We are Reuben and Margo Taylor, Grandparents of Scott Taylor. Scott was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis several years ago at the age of 23. He is a fun, trusting, down-to-earth man with a humongous heart. He doesn’t talk about his journey, his illness, and he rarely complains. He continues to inspire and strengthen others, even while dealing with his illness. Scott has learned to define and “LIVE” with MG.
Imagine a debilitating disease that impacts every aspect of your life. Then imagine what it is like when no one has ever heard of your illness, that is what life can be like for people with MG, a chronic autoimmune disease in which antibodies attack and destroy neuromuscular connections, causing muscle weakness. The MGFA is the only national volunteer health agency in the United States dedicated solely to fight against Myasthenia Gravis.
